PUBLICIST CREDENTIAL APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS Publicists may apply for credentials April 27 through May 31 for the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. Please carefully review the below before applying for credentials and note that we can only accommodate one publicist for each act who is nominated or appearing on the telecast. AREAS OF ACCESS RED CARPET: The 2011 CMT Music Awards will again feature a star-studded red carpet to kick off the evening's festivities. CMT invites national and local media to cover the red carpet, which runs before the live show from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 8. CMT MEDIA ZONE powered by Bing: Talent will be invited to conduct interviews and pose for photographs following wins and performances in the CMT Media Zone powered by Bing. The area will be available to a limited number of print media, online, electronic and syndicated radio who wish to watch the show, while conducting brief pool interviews with talent. In addition, a limited number of photographers will be granted access. Can my artist walk the red carpet? All performers, presenters and nominated artists should participate in the 2011 CMT Music Awards Red Carpet. For any additional talent requests, artists must meet all of the following criteria in order to walk the carpet: 1. Artist(s) must have a ticket to be seated at the show. 2. Artist(s) must have a credentialed publicist/representative present to walk them down the carpet. 3. Artist(s) must have had a music video on CMT during their career. 4.
