MEDIA CREDENTIAL APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS Media may apply for credentials now through May 31st for the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. Please carefully review the following rules and procedures before applying for credentials. AREAS OF ACCESS RED CARPET: The 2011 CMT Music Awards will again feature a star-studded red carpet to kick off the evening's festivities. CMT invites national and local media to cover the red carpet, which runs before the live show from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 8. CMT MEDIA ZONE powered by Bing: Talent will be invited to conduct interviews and pose for photographs following wins and performances in the CMT Media Zone powered by Bing. The area will be available to a limited number of print media, online, electronic and syndicated radio who wish to watch the show, while conducting brief pool interviews with talent. In addition, a limited number of photographers will be granted access. PRESS SEATS: Media interested in attending the live show are invited to sit in a special reserved media section at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, pending ticket availability. PHOTO SEATS: CMT has limited space for photographers at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS in the house. For those media we are unable to accommodate, CMT will post free, downloadable images at www.cmtmusicawardspress.com. CMT attempts to credential as many legitimate media outlets as space will allow; however, we may not be able to grant every request. Consideration for media credentials is based upon a number of factors, including previous coverage of the CMT MUSIC AWARDS and events leading up to the live telecast.
