CMT ANNOUNCES DATE AND LOCATION FOR THE“2007 CMT MUSIC AWARDS”
|
NASHVILLE – June 5, 2006 – Back for its sixth year, the 2007 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will take place on Monday, April 16, 2007. For the second year in a row, the live show will originate from the Curb Event Center at Belmont University in Nashville. Country music’s only fan-voted award show will return with country’s biggest stars, exciting performances and surprise guests. Jeff Foxworthy will host the show for the third consecutive year.
This year’s 2006 CMT MUSIC AWARDS yielded winners from fan votes, with over 9.2 million viewers* tuning in to award show-related programming. Also a winner was CMT.com, which broke multiple records in conjunction with its first ever live simulcast of the 2006 CMT MUSIC AWARDS.
